In 1910 Carters Creek was a bustling farm community with 2 general stores, post office, granary and train depot. In the past 90 years the community and area have experienced a lot of change. Saturn / GM built it's huge auto manufacturing facility just a mile away and with it came fast food and convenience stores. But just over the hill, the peace and quiet of the farming community can still be found. The train still comes by, just feet from our store, blowing it's horn at the crossing although the depot is long gone. The old general store is open once again. The checkerboards and rockers are back on the porch. Friends old and new share laughs and memories as they buy, sell and trade. Carters Creek Station Antiques is owned and operated by Linda Jones-Lloyd.
